Handelingen 15:7

SVEn als [daarover] grote twisting geschiedde, stond Petrus op en zeide tot hen: Mannen broeders, gij weet, dat God van over langen tijd onder ons [mij] verkoren heeft, dat de heidenen door mijn mond het woord des Evangelies zouden horen, en geloven.

ASVAnd when there had been much questioning, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Brethren, ye know that a good while ago God made choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
BEAnd when there had been much discussion, Peter got up and said to them, My brothers, you have knowledge that some time back it was God's pleasure that by my mouth the good news might be given to the Gentiles so that they might have faith.
DarbyAnd much discussion having taken place, Peter, standing up, said to them, Brethren, *ye* know that from the earliest days God amongst you chose that the nations by my mouth should hear the word of the glad tidings and believe.

SchAls sich nun viel Streit erhob, stand Petrus auf und sprach zu ihnen: Ihr Männer und Brüder, ihr wißt, daß Gott lange vor diesen Tagen unter euch die Wahl getroffen hat, daß durch meinen Mund die Heiden das Wort des Evangeliums hören und zum Glauben kommen sollten.
